Planting Near New Pipes
Tree and shrub roots are one of the main reasons old clay sewer pipes fail. When replanting, we keep larger trees and vigorous-rooted plants well away from the new pipe line, and use shallow-rooted groundcovers, grasses and small shrubs directly above it. That way you are not paying for the same plumbing repair again in fifteen years.
