Garden, path, deck and feature lighting designed alongside your landscaping and installed by a licensed electrician. Your outdoor space stays usable, safe and good-looking after dark.
A garden that looks great at 3pm can disappear completely by 6pm in winter. Lighting brings the planting, paving and structure you invested in back into view, and makes the space usable for more of the year.
All wiring and connections done by a licensed electrician
Planned with the planting and hardscape, not added as an afterthought
Safer steps, paths and entries after dark
Low-voltage LED fittings that are cheap to run
Most projects combine a few of these. We work out the mix on site, based on how you use the space and what you want people to notice.
Spotlights aimed up into trees, hedges, sculptural plants and textured walls to give the garden depth at night.
Bollards, path lights and step lights recessed into retaining walls or stair risers so people can move around safely.
In-ground and deck-mounted fittings that mark the edges of entertaining areas without glare.
Wall washers and up/down lights for the front of the house, fences and screening, improving street appeal and security.
Festoon runs and pergola lighting for alfresco and outdoor dining areas.
Dusk-to-dawn sensors, timers and app-controlled zones so the lights look after themselves.
The easiest time to put in outdoor lighting is while the garden is being built. Cable can run under new paving, through garden beds before they are planted and behind retaining walls before they are backfilled. Trying to add it later usually means lifting pavers or digging through established plants, which costs more and rarely looks as clean.
Because we design and build the landscape ourselves, lighting is planned at the same time. We think about which trees will be lit, where the paths and steps need light for safety, and where the outdoor living area needs a softer glow. Our licensed electrician then handles the transformer, the cabling and every connection to your switchboard, and issues the compliance certificate required for electrical work in Victoria.
We also add lighting to existing gardens. If you already have a landscape you are happy with, we can lay out a lighting scheme around it and keep disturbance to lawns and beds to a minimum.
Simple from first visit to switch-on.
We look at the garden, how you use it after dark and where power can come from.

Our electrician installs and connects everything, then we aim and test each light at night.

We install landscape and outdoor lighting across Melbourne’s northern, eastern, western and southern suburbs.
Yes, in Victoria any connection to mains power, including new outdoor power points and transformers, has to be done by a licensed electrician. All of our lighting installs are completed by a licensed electrician and come with a compliance certificate.
Yes. We plan cable routes to avoid established plants and paving where we can. It is easier and cheaper to install during a landscaping project, but retrofits are very common.
It depends on the number of fittings, the type of light and how far cable has to run. After a site visit we give you a fixed quote with no hidden extras.
No. Low-voltage LED fittings use very little power, and with timers or dusk sensors they only run when needed.
